My wife and I started building and designing web sites in 2006. We both do this part-time, from our home.

My first serious project was my local poker forum. I belong to many poker websites, both local and international. I always felt that while they both have their advantages, it would be great to get everything in one place. The local forums are great to find places to play and make new friends, while the wealth of knowledge that comes with tens of thousands of users from the international sites is invaluable. So I decided to try to make the best of both worlds.

My next project, which I am still trying to find time to complete, was Finger Lakes Outdoors. Another one of my passions has always been fishing. While that alone is not enough to devote a regional website to, I decided to broaden its horizons and incorporate all outdoor activities. I still have some work to on this project, but I believe it will be a success.

I started making websites for some friends, and finally decided to start offering my services to more people. I got involved in running WNY Poker in the summer of 2008. I really enjoy being part of something as special as this.

My wife Becky has been behind me all the way, learning with me as we went along. I wish I had half of her creativity. Becky does all of our graphic work, and she does an awesome job! She also is there to tell me when something looks stupid, or just needs to be changed.
